The Royal Standard, New Kent Road (New), London SE1 6AD, was a cherished institution for over three decades before its eventual demise. By July 2018, the pub had been transformed into a Salsa Club, but unfortunately, it was demolished in 2017. The 1940s were a significant period in British history, marked by the Second World War.
