Proof copy of a poster produced for Southern Railway (SR) to promote rail services to Spithead, Portsmouth, Hampshire, where a Naval Review was taking place in May 1937. The Review was held in honour of the coronation of King George VI, when 160 ships were present. Artwork by Charles Shep Shepherd, who studied art under Paul Woodroffe and was head of the studio at the Baynard Press.
