George starred in this comedy about a city boy who inherits a small town chewing gum factory. He saves the factory and wins the heart of a local girl. Co-stars Jerry and Nellie Cohan. it ran for 176 performances. The caption under the cartoon drawing of a man who has been flattened by a steam roller reads One Laugh Three Hours Long. Never Mind the Crush. The smiling crushed figure says By Gum. The artist is John Hassall. A tiny black and white version of the image was used in the illustrated souvenir. For the Prince of Wales.
