The Orient Ladies Football Club, who play in the South East England Ladies Football League have so far this season scored 60 goals in League and friendly games. They play on Sundays for the Womens Football Association Cup. After a training session the ladies invade the holy ground of a local football club mens bath and enjoy every minute. The team includes, Brenda Norrington, 24, Susan Knightly, 16, Ann Williams, 18, Leslie Pugh, 18, Helen Cross, 18, Lorraine Anderson, 16, , Marilyn Green, 19, Janet Everett, 19, Vicky Wilson, 18, Captain Chris Buck, 15, Laura Redgrave, 16, and top goalscorer Vanessa Grimsdell, 17, centre. 14th March 1972
