All the year round, Anti Aircraft Batteries stationed in Scotland and North-East England undergo a two to three weeks intensive instruction in Anti-Aircraft Gunnery at a Training and Practice Camp for
light and heavy a Guns.
The camp is situated beside the seashore and the guns each day fire off many hundreds of rounds at
a sleeve, towed by an aircraft.
During this intensive training period, highly qualified instructors of a Gunnery impart the
very latest technical devices invented by Britains research scientists, to the ATS and and male personnel of the Mixed A A Batteries.
