Tony Hancock has been signed by ABC Television to present the Blackpool Show, which starts its SUmmer season on the complete Independent Television network on Sunday, June 19th. Philip Jones, Light Entertainment Supervisor for ABC television, said today " We are extremely pleased to get Tony to head up our big Summer Sunday night series, and together with the line-up of guests already signed it looks as though we are heading for our biggest season ever.
Guests in the line-up already include Roy Castle, Bruce Forsyth, Frankie Howard. Kathy Kirby, Mike and Bernie Winters, Jimmy Clitheroe, The Bachelors, Athur Askey, Allan Sherman, The Seekers, Terry Hall and Dave Allen. 6th May 1966
