This striking image showcases the Great Seal of Richard III, the enigmatic King of England and Lord of Ireland from 1483 until his death in the Battle of Bosworth Field in 1485. The obverse side of the seal depicts a crowned and armored Richard III, holding a scepter in his right hand and an orb in his left, symbolizing his regal authority. The inscription around the edge reads "RICARDI III DEI GRATIA REX ANGLIE ET HIBERNIE" or "Richard III, by the Grace of God, King of England and Ireland."
