Other ranks? cap badge, Queen Alexandra?s Royal Army Nursing Corps, 1950-1953 (c).A cross in the form of the Order of the Dannebrog, in the centre of which is a frosted disc bearing the burnished letter ?A?, the cross being surmounted by a monarchial crown. One either side of the cross a spray of laurel. On the lower portion of the right hand spray a frosted scroll bearing the burnished words ?SUB CRUCE? and on the left hand spray the burnished word ?CANDIDA?, all in gilding metal. Mounted on the base of the laurel sprays a frosted white metal scroll bearing the burnished Corps initials. Reverse bears a vertical slider fitting. Date: 1949
