Landscape from Bald Hills Road with early morning fog filling valley, Redwood National Park, California, USA
The Redwood National and State Parks (RNSP) are old growth temperate rainforests located in the United States, along the coast of northern California. Comprising Redwood National Park (established 1968) and Californias Del Norte Coast, Jedediah Smith, and Prairie Creek Redwoods State Parks (dating from the 1920s), the combined RNSP contain 139, 000 acres (560 km2). Located entirely within Del Norte and Humboldt Counties, the four parks, together, protect 45 percent of all remaining coast redwood (Sequoia sempervirens) old growth forests, totalling at least 38, 982 acres (157.75 km2)

EDITORS COMMENTS
This breathtaking print captures the ethereal beauty of Redwood National Park in California, USA. Taken from Bald Hills Road during the early morning hours, the landscape is shrouded in a mystical fog that fills the valley below. The Redwood National and State Parks are renowned for their ancient temperate rainforests, which have stood tall along the northern coast of California for centuries. Established in 1968, Redwood National Park is part of a larger conservation effort that includes Del Norte Coast, Jedediah Smith, and Prairie Creek Redwoods State Parks. Together, these parks span an impressive 139,000 acres (560 km2), safeguarding approximately 45 percent of all remaining old growth forests of coast redwoods – majestic trees known scientifically as Sequoia sempervirens. In this image by Danita Delimont from Fine Art Storehouse, there are no people present to distract from nature's grandeur. The horizontal composition allows us to fully appreciate the vastness of this pristine environment. As we gaze into the distance where sky meets land and forest meets foggy abyss, our minds wander into a realm where time seems suspended. This print serves as a reminder of both the fragility and resilience of our natural world. It invites us to immerse ourselves in its tranquility and marvel at its magnificence – an invitation we should accept with gratitude and reverence.
